Communications/Web
Committee
The members of this committee are committed to improving communication,
between the Association, all residents and the community, at the
Gregory Commons. Communication improvements include personal,
print and new media.
1.
Message holders have been installed in each of the 4 elevators.
These are to be used exclusively by the Board of Directors and
management to convey important information. They will be updated
often to keep residents aware of important issues.
2.
More "town hall meetings" and informal Board Member
Q&A meetings were held than ever before. Board members have made
themselves available on many occasions to discuss: waterproofing,
waterproofing financing, by-law changes and C-100 related issues.
Small, informal meetings between residents and the Board allow
for a deeper understanding of the issues on a very individual
level.
3.
The new Gregory Commons web site is a wonderful platform to announce
a renewed Gregory Commons to the world. It features a completely
new site design from a resident & professional web site designer.
The new site is aimed at giving prospective residents a better
understanding of the Gregory Commons and better positioning the
Gregory Commons brand. The site will allow information to be shared
quickly with all residents. In the future, a classified section
will be added so residents can network and list items for sale.
A real estate section will also allow residents an extra opportunity
to buy or sell real estate at the Gregory Commons.
There
is much more to do. Improving communication is an ongoing process,
but all of us hope that things are a little better today than
they were yesterday. Your feedback, comments and input are all
welcome. Feel free to contact the Communications Committee by leaving a memo at the front desk.
Thanks again and I hope you enjoy the new web site.
